MFDC Election and EGM 2025

Dear Members,

we kindly ask to communicate with the delegates, request or update the memberships as soon as possible for the EGM of the MFDC.

He are happy to inform that we have the following candidates:

• President: Vanessa Eterno⁩ (Portugal)

• Vice-President for finance: Salvatore Comis⁩ (Italy)

• Board Member Representing Africa: Samier Ahmed (Egypt)

• Board Member Representing Asia: Rayan Saade⁩ (Lebanon)

• Board Member Representing Europe: Sevval Cihankaya (Turkey)

• Secretary General: Marco Tomasini (Italy)

There were only two motions (from Italy) to change the proposal of statutes issued by the Secretariat and they are the following:

• to include that the Governing Council Member – Female matching Athletes’ Representative, elected by the Athletes’ delegates and the Governing Council Member – Male matching Athletes’ Representative, elected by the Athletes’ delegates are elected at the first event after the AGM organized by the MFDC

• the MFDC commissions are appointed and decided by the elected board, including the MFDC Academy

No other motions have been received.

Attached is the final version of the statutes.

The meeting will be held on the 13 th of July 2025 from the 15:00 to the 17:00 online.

The first call of the meeting is at 15:00 and the second call of the meeting is at 15:30. All the times are in the Italian time zone.
